We have all heard the nightmare stories of the waste (drain outlet hole) in your new home or renovation ending up in a different position to what was designed.  This then makes the waste outlet of a generic grate or already customised grate unsuitable or expensive to amend.

Believe it or not, this is actually quite common but with a Lauxes grate system, this is no longer an issue!

Once the waste position has been established by the plumber, the waste hole in a Lauxes grate can be easily drilled out in the corresponding position on the bottom tray to get a perfect fit every time.           

LENGTH (As Per Your Requirements)

Another problem solver of Lauxes grates is that all the grate systems in the range can be cut/trimmed to size.

Wet areas often don’t end up being the planned size, even if its only by a few centimeters due to tiles etc.

Many people when designing a bathroom or outdoor living area etc prefer a true wall to wall grate but are stuck with set sizes or an expensive custom option.  With the Lauxes system, this is no longer an issure as all styles can be cut to the exact required length.  The end caps are easily slid in place and sealed with silicone.

COLOUR OPTIONS

The Lauxes range comes in Silk Silver, Midnight Black and Matte Gold (NXT 14 & 26 and STI only)  Any of our specialty colors will provide a great look for your wet area.

Lauxes grates are triple anodised which is an electrochemical process where the surface of the aluminium and its alloys are coated to a porous aluminium oxide, creating an elegant smooth finish.

Anodising is used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of the metal parts.  Anodising increases common erosion resistance and wear resistance, making it quite hard.

The oxide on aluminium is naturally corrosion resistant which makes it quite hard, abrasive resistant and an insulator.

WASTE SIZE OPTIONS

Multiple waste size options is definitely helpful when trying to work with existing in-floor/ground waste sizes.

The 71mm wide Lauxes grates can have either a 40mm or 50mm waste outlet or outlets.

The 100mm wide grates are compatible with the 40mm, 50mm, 72mm or 80mm options.

Yet another benefit is that multiple wastes can be installed if the water is of a greater volume than normal.  If you are using a longer length in an outdoor living area or a pool etc, more than one outlet may be required.
